Charlotte Hornets posted their roster online today and it did say Kenny Williams from Louisville, but Chris Lea – WRAL TV has confirmed that it is Kenny Williams from the University of North Carolina.

Kenny Williams, 2017 National Champion, will be looking to make an impact on the Summer League circuit and hopefully impress the management in Charlotte for a future opportunity for his first breakthrough into the NBA.

Williams played for two seasons in the G-League for the Austin Spurs after going undrafted in the NBA Draft 2019. Most recently, Williams signed for Bnei Herzliya in the top-tier of Israeli basketball, although his time was cut short due to an injury.
