Brice Johnson has already secured his place next season in Japan, re-signing for the Toyama Grouses and will play his second season in Asia.

Brice Johnson has had experience playing basketball all over the world, with his time in the NBA with the Los Angeles Clippers and Memphis Grizzlies, then going to play in Puerto Rico, Italy, France and Ukraine. Johnson played his first season in the top-tier of Japanese basketball last season for the Toyama Grouses.
The 2016 University of North Carolina Graduate played 59 games and averaged 15.8 PPG and 9.83 RPG this past season, he was second in scoring for his team and led the Grouses in rebounding and was 6th in the league.
Brice was joined by fellow Tar Heels in Japan last season; Jawad Williams, James Michael McAdoo and Justin Knox.
Toyama finished with a 24-35 record and Brice will be hoping to improve on that next season. He spoke on re-signing for Toyama in a statement on their website:
“I am very excited to be back in Toyama again. I think we started playing very well as a team in the second half of the season. Hopefully, we will bring the same momentum to the next season and push forward toward our goal of winning the championship.
