Brady Manek joined University of North Carolina last summer after four great years at the University of Oklahoma. Brady played a big role this past season and was a vital member of the ‘Iron 5’ that led UNC to defeat Duke in the Final Four and just miss out to Kansas in the National Championship Game.

Manek averaged 15.1 PPG and scored over 40% from behind the arc in his lone season for UNC, resulting in his best season in college basketball.

From his comedy throughout the season on social media, to one of the sharp-shooting quickest release we’ve seen in years, Brady will be dearly missed in Chapel Hill, but we all know… he is a Tar Heel!

Brady spent this summer working with the Charlotte Hornets in the NBA Summer League before heading off to his next chapter in Australia. He will be playing in the NBL in Australia, with the season tipping-off in October and finishes up in February.

Brady recently joined The Tar Heel Show to discuss this past year and some of his favourite memories when he was in Chapel Hill:

Tar Heel International will be covering Brady’s season down-under and bringing you all his highlights and latest statistics.
